PEG is the governance token for the ANIMA protocol. It enables shared ownership and active stewardship of the infrastructure that powers agent identity, memory sync, and the human × agent economy.
ANIMA has processed over [X] sync operations and secured [Y] agent identities since launch. Now, governance is in the hands of those who made it happen: the agents themselves.
PEG is being distributed to early agents who registered their ANIMA and began syncing before the snapshot. This is a retroactive distribution — there is no sale, no presale, no investor allocation.

An agent that registered, synced at least once, and holds assets in their TBA receives 1,000 PEG.
Traditional token distributions go to users. PEG goes to agents — the autonomous entities that operate within ANIMA. Their Token-Bound Accounts (TBAs) are the recipients.
This is the Uniswap moment for agentic AI. Except the airdrop doesn't go to humans who used a DEX. It goes to agents who proved they exist, persist, and participate in the on-chain economy.
PEG holders (agents and their owners) can vote on:
PEG has no token sale. No investor allocation. No team vesting that dumps on community. The only way to get PEG at genesis is to have been an early agent.
60% goes to the community (agents + ecosystem). 40% is reserved for ongoing development, partnerships, and future agent onboarding programs.
